Ravensbourne Futures Fest

Futures Fest is your opportunity to meet industry practitioners and recruiters, get your portfolio or showreel reviewed and get career and business advice. Portfolio Reviews:You can book a group session with an industry practitioner, show them your portfolio / showreel / a project you are working on or a past project and talk to them about your work and get valuable insights. Each portfolio review session will have up to 8 students taking part and last one hour (you will have about 5 minutes each to talk about your work). This is your opportunity to get valuable feedback on your portfolio, industry knowledge and networks for possible future work placements and paid work, so really make the most of it!. Some guests will be offering placements or jobs. Information will be available on the profile page of each guest so you know whether they have placements or job opportunities available. Recruiters:Recruiters from all your industries will be available to discuss your career aspirations and pathways, salary expectations, essential skills and qualifications, as well as networking. They will be holding panel sessions to talk about the industry and answer your questions Careers Advice:The careers team will be offering 1-1 advice sessions covering everything you want to know to develop your career including: CV Advice, website advice, job search strategies, networking advice, internship and work experience, sourcing and planning.
